20 E morning run + yoga/2.3 mi Dixie invite! Warmed 20 min, left foot started to hurt this day, then into the 1600. Wow much needed improvement and lots to learn from this race! First lap was around 1:19. Dead. I never brought myself to just get up front and race my race! I stayed with Mic who runs a different way than me. The last lap I didn't have a good kick and mic, along with some dhills girls passed me. Ended with 5:16, 5th. I realized I can't depend on others to run the race for me. I have to get out and hit my laps like we hit our workouts! Cool 35 min. 55 total/6.8 mi |
